During the summer of 2010 I rode my bike nearly 4,000 miles from Boston, Massachusetts to Santa Barbara, California.
In Hereford, Texas the cows outnumbered the people 10:1.
In Baker, California we rode through the desert where the temperature "felt like" 126 degrees.
In Portales, New Mexico we met a man whose yard contained a collection of nearly 85 windmills.
And in 70 days we made it from the Atlantic to the Pacific.
